UPDATE:

At its meeting on Monday, April 15, the council resolved to grant the discontinuance of the road reserve and sale of the land adjacent to 7B McFarland Rd for the purpose of a car park.

There were zero submissions recieved during the consultation period


At its meeting of October 16, 2023, Wodonga City Council (Council) resolved to give public notice under Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) that it intends to discontinue that part of the road reserve adjacent to 7B McFarland Road, Wodonga 3690 and being part of the land in certificate of title volume 9490 folio 561, being the land shown as on the plan below, and to sell the land to Grovermax Pty Limited for $170,000.00 (exclusive of GST) (Proposal).

A person may make a submission on the Proposal. Any person proposing to make a submission under Section 223 of the Act must do so by 5pm Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

All submissions will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Act.

Any person requesting to be heard in support of their submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or a Committee established by Council for this purpose) or be represented by a person acting on their behalf.

Please confirm in your written submission if you wish to be heard before Council, and include your name, address and contact details.
