Why we're consulting
Neighbourhood character refers to the look and feel of a place. It is a combination of elements including the built form, the vegetation surrounding buildings and how they are placed on a block.
You are invited to think about and discuss what makes your neighbourhood special, review suggested neighbourhood character types and provide feedback.
Community members understand what makes their neighbourhood special better than anyone. Your feedback will help to define a range of character types (ensuring they are realistic and reflect Wodonga), and set out expectations for housing in the established areas of the municipality.
This body of work will help define how the residential areas of Wodonga look and feel, guiding the development of our city. It will ensure that the housing needs of the community are met now and into the future by creating a clearer housing framework for the city.
