Wodonga Council is seeking community feedback to help guide the design for the replacement of the playground within Merlinda Court Playground. The existing playground equipment is due for renewal and is scheduled to be installed in 2026-2027.

Merlinda Court Playground is the only play space within this precinct and consists of a multi-play unit with a focus on the 4- to 7-year-old age group. There are multiple climbing features, a glider and a slide.

Consideration has been given to the relocation of the playground to provide better access to a greater number of residents, however the layout of the green corridor and rear court access provides challenges to this with limited available space and a general lack of passive surveillance.
