Why we're consulting
We're developing a new Cultural Services Plan to guide the future of arts, culture and events across our city for the next five years - and we’re inviting the community to help shape it.
The plan will set the strategic direction for key cultural services including Hyphen – Wodonga Library Gallery, The Cube Wodonga, Bonegilla Migrant Experience, community and civic events, public art and cultural heritage.
Arts and culture play an important role in bringing people together, celebrating local stories and creating vibrant spaces and experiences across Wodonga. Whether you attend exhibitions, festivals, performances or community events — or would like to see something new — this is your opportunity to have a say.
We want to know what kinds of activities and events you’d like to see more of, what stories should be told and how we can make arts and culture more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
There will be a range of pop-up opportunities to chat with us in person - keep an eye on the consultation page for details.
Please share your thoughts about arts and culture so that we can develop a Cultural Services Plan that brings people together and creates a vibrant Wodonga.

How your feedback will be used
This is the beginning of the development of the new Cultural Services Plan and at this stage we don't have a clear direction, we need to hear from our community to ensure that the new plan can consider what our community wants.
The final plan will be influenced by many things that we already know - legislation, participation trends, demographic data and the like - however, it also needs to be influenced by the real-life experiences of the community. The community includes residents of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. We also want to hear from artists and cultural organisations or anybody with an interest in arts and culture in Wodonga.
We have developed a set of questions to help us understand the experiences, needs and wants of the community so that these can be considered in the development of the new plan.
