Why we're consulting
There are more than 9,000 young people living in Wodonga and we recognise the importance of supporting, developing and preparing this next generation to achieve optimal wellbeing, now and into the future.
Our existing Youth Strategy is now out of date, and with the recently adopted Council Plan and Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan reaffirming the importance of young people - it is time to update the strategy.
The new strategy will provide clear strategic direction to inform the work of council, stakeholders and community and support the development of young people who live, learn, work or visit Wodonga. It will be a strategy that our young people can see themselves in and connect with to empower them to be active citizens in Wodonga.
We know that we cannot develop a Youth Strategy without young people being involved. We encourage you to complete the survey below to help ensure your voice is heard.
