Notice of Proposed Road Discontinuance

Wodonga City Council (Council) acting under clause 3 of schedule 10 to the Local Government Act 1989 proposes to discontinue the road shown hatched on the plan below and sell the land.

The land is part of the land in certificate of title volume 12541 folio 433 and known as part Lenehen Drive, Barnawartha North.

In accordance with section 223 of the Act, a person may make a written submission on the proposal. Any person proposing to make a submission must do so by 5pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, and can be hand delivered to Council’s Office at 104 Hovell Street, Wodonga or posted to the following address:

Any person making a submission may request to be heard in support of their submission. Any person requesting to be heard is entitled to appear in person or by a person acting on their behalf, before a meeting of Council or its committee.

Following consideration of submissions, Council may resolve to discontinue the road and sell the land or resolve not to discontinue the road.
