Wodonga City Council (Council) gives notice under section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) that it intends to sell the land described below (Proposal).

The land which is the subject of the Proposal is shown on the plan below (cross hatched) as lot 2, being part of the land in certificate of title volume 11077 folio 379 and known as part Roche Drive, Barnawartha North (Land).

The principal terms of the sale of Land are:

  1. Purchaser is Vic Cans Aust Pty Ltd ACN 634 706 620 and/or nominee;
  2. Purchase price of $1,537,900 plus GST;
  3. Deposit of 5% of the price on the day of sale;
  4. Settlement is due on the later of:
    (a) 24 months after the day of sale;
    (b) 30 days after the date of the planning permit for a manufacturing and storage facility
    (c) 30 days after registration of the plan of subdivision; and
  5. As a condition of sale, the purchaser must enter into a section 173 agreement to be registered on the title to the Land, which requires the purchaser to develop the Land in accordance with the planning permit and within an agreed timeframe after settlement.

A person may make a written submission on the Proposal. Any person proposing to make a submission must do so by 5pm Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
