Notice of Intention to Sell land

Wodonga City Council (Council) gives notice under Section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) that it intends to sell the land described below (Proposal 1) and vary the Lot 2 Option Deed and the Lot 6 Contract forming part of the Formula Forage project at Roche Drive, Barnawartha North (Proposal 2).

Proposal 1

The land which is the subject of Proposal 1 is lot C on the plan shown below being part of the land in certificate of title volume 12541 folio 431 and known as part Roche Drive, Barnawartha North (Lot C). Lot C is proposed to be sold to Jessica Wild and/or nominee for a purchase price of $50 plus GST per square metre.

Proposal 2 involves Council entering into Deed of Variation with Jessica Wild for the following:

  1. Lot 2 Option Deed
    • Lot 9 on PS901713N (shown below) is to replace lot 2 on PS823624V
    • Purchase price of $50 plus GST per square metre for the additional land within lot 2
  2. Lot 6 Contract
    • First Right Parcel – lot 3 on PS901713N (shown below) is to replace lot 1 on PS823624V
    • First Right Period for lot 3 to commence on 16 September 2020 and end on the date which is 12 months after the last day of the option period for Lot 2 Option.
Proposal 2

A person may make a written submission on Proposal 1 and Proposal 2. Any person proposing to make a submission must do so by 5pm Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
