NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CREATE AN EASEMENT ON LAND:

Wodonga City Council (Council) gives notice under section 114(2)(b) of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) and Council’s community engagement policy, that it intends to create an electricity supply easement over that part of the land contained in certificate of title volume 9490 folio 561, known as former road adjoining 7B McFarland Road, Wodonga as shown on the plan below (Easement).

The proposal is that the Easement be created in favour of AusNet Electricity Services Pty Ltd ACN 064 651 118 (AusNet) for $1 (excluding GST) consideration.

A person may make a submission on the Proposal. Any person proposing to make a submission under Section 223 of the Act must do so by 5pm Tuesday, August 19 2025.

Written submissions must be clearly marked "Intention to create easement – 7B McFarland Road" and can be made:

  • online, by completing the online form available on Council’s website at makewodongayours.com.au;
  • by email to makewodongayours@wodonga.vic.gov.au;
  • by post to PO Box 923, Wodonga, VIC 3689; or
  • by hand delivery to the Council's offices at 104 Hovell Street, Wodonga.
