Notice of intention to sell land

Wodonga Council gives notice under Section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 that it intends to sell the land described below.

The land which is the subject of the Proposal is the area outlined in red continuous lines in the plan below being part of lot 15 on PS901711S, part Baxter-Whelans Road, Barnawartha North and being part of the land contained in certificate of title volume 12541 folio 431 (Land).

The proposal is that the land be sold by private treaty to Ausnet Services Electricity Pty Ltd on the following key terms:

• a purchase price of $300,000 plus GST;
• payment of a deposit equal to 10% of the price; and
• settlement will be due on the later of:
  • June 30, 2026; and
  • thirty (30) days after registration of a plan of subdivision to create the parcel for the land.
